The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), together with NCSS, introduced training sponsorship for students in the Diploma in Social Sciences (Social Work) course to provide opportunity for young talents to join the social service sector as Social Work Associates and to provide professional services to people in need in the community. The Lien Foundation since 2002, has partnered NCSS to provide scholarships to those who wish to develop a career in the social service sector. The Foundation has committed $1.2 million over the next four years for both graduate and postgraduate studies in management and specialist fields.
APB Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities
The APB Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities is a multi-disciplinary scholarship that allows the pursuit of undergraduate studies in a local university.
