The Innovation & Productivity Grant (IPG) supports these two components in this category:
- Adoption of Innovation and Productivity Improvement Projects:
Supports social service organisations in implementing innovations and technology solutions, for more optimal resource utilisation and to improve productivity. This component supports any Innovation and Productivity projects that are not related to IT Adoption, Research or Pre-scoped Consultancy.
- Scaling of Innovation and Productivity Improvement Projects.
After undertaking Pre-scoped Consultancy projects, social service organisations will gain more confidence and experience to take on larger productivity improvement projects. IPG can continue its support for social service organisations in pursuing larger-scale productivity projects under this category so that the impact of the efforts can be further increased.
The supported projects will need to achieve at least one KPI of 10% productivity savings (e.g. Reduction in Manpower Cost, Reduction in Time etc).
Projects supported in this category are productivity-enabling technologies to streamline or automate service delivery work processes to raise productivity.
Examples of projects supported in this category are:
- Social Service Institute Process Improvement Project.
- Resident Monitoring System to track the movement of the residents in the centre
- Water Monitoring Technology to monitor the well-being of vulnerable elderly
