NCSS's role is in activating recruitment campaigns to educate and inform the public, so that they may choose a career in social service.

There are diverse career opportunities in the social service sector you can consider. Professional Conversion Programmes (PCP) are available for mid-career switchers interested in becoming Social WorkersOccupational Therapists, or Physiotherapists.

Various types of funding support are available at the Social Service Institute (SSI). You can enjoy up to 90% subsidies on your course fees for short courses and academic programmes offered by SSI. For more information on the criteria and how to apply, click here.
