SUMMIT DAY 1: 18 JULY 2023, TUESDAY

  1. I would like to register for Summit 2023. How may I do so? 

    Registration for Summit 2023 is by invitation. Please register through the registration form link within the invitation email that was sent to you.

  2. How many representatives can my agency register for Summit 2023? 

    Each agency may register up to two representatives. You will receive a confirmation email with a QR code within after you have registered. In the event of an over-subscription, priority will be given to the Board Chairperson/Head of Agency. We seek your understanding that additional representatives will be encouraged to participate online instead, and we will reach out through email to share the virtual link.

  3. I have registered for Summit 2023. How do I know if my registration is confirmed? 

    You will receive a confirmation email with a QR code within after you have registered. Kindly note that this confirmation email will be sent out by our event organiser using the following email address: noreply@eventnookmail.com. Kindly add the email address above to your Safe Senders list to avoid the confirmation email being sent to your spam.

  4. I have yet to receive my confirmation email. What should I do? 

    Kindly note that the confirmation email will be sent out by our event organiser using the following email address: noreply@eventnookmail.com. Kindly add the email address above to your Safe Senders list to avoid the confirmation email being sent to your spam.

    If you are unable to find the confirmation email in both your inbox and spam folder within two hours after registering, kindly email ncsssummit@knoxx.sg

  5. Am I allowed to register on behalf of my colleague? 

    As each attendee will be issued a confirmation email with a unique QR code, we encourage participants to fill in their own registration form to ensure details are accurately captured for attendance and other event-related administrative matters.

  6. I note that this year’s Summit is held over two days. Am I required to attend for both days? 

    No, you are not required to attend for both days. Day Two is targeted at SSAs’ Head of Agencies (Heads) and Senior Management (SMT). For Heads and SMT who are attending Summit Day One, we highly encourage you to join us for Day Two to ignite new ideas and help drive transformation.

  7. I note that this year’s Summit is held over two days. Do I have to register separately?  

    No, you will not need to do so. Kindly refer to the registration form within the invitation email that was sent to you.

  8. I note that the Transformation Marketplace is held concurrently with Summit. Would I be able to attend both? 

    Yes, you will be able to attend both as the Transformation Marketplace is part of the Summit experience. It will take an estimated 30 minutes to 45 minutes to tour the Transformation Marketplace.

  9. I did not receive the invitation email to register for the Summit. How can I proceed to register? 

    Registration for Summit is by invitation. If you are a NCSS Member/Corporate Partner, kindly send in your enquiry to ncsssummit@knoxx.sg

  10. Could I register through email instead? 

    As each attendee would be issued a confirmation email with a unique QR code, we encourage all participants to register through the registration form that has been sent to you in the invitation email.

  11. I have special accessibility needs/dietary requirements (e.g., halal/vegetarian), can you accommodate me? 

    Yes, kindly specify your needs within the registration form and we will try our best to accommodate.

  12. Is there a dress code for the event? 
    Dress code would be smart casual. Do bring along a jacket as it may be cold in the ballroom.

 


ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM): 18 JULY 2023, TUESDAY


  1. Can I attend the NCSS AGM if I do not attend the Social Service Summit?

    Yes, you may choose to attend AGM only.

  2. Who is the Official Representative for my agency? 

    The Official Representative should be either the Chairperson/President or ED/CEO. If both are unable to attend and would like to delegate the Official Representative to a Board Member or Staff of the agency, the Chairperson/President or ED/CEO is required to delegate within the registration form.

  3. Can I be the Official Representative for more than one member agency?

    No, an individual may only serve as the Official Representative for one member agency.

  4. Is there a difference in voting rights between Full NCSS Council Members and Associate NCSS Council Members? 

    Yes. As this is a non-election year, all Full NCSS Members are required to send one Official Representative (OR) for voting and all Associate NCSS Members are not required to vote but may still attend the AGM as observers. There will be further instructions within the registration form to guide you through the voting instructions. Once you have selected the name of your SSA, the form will be able to identify whether you are eligible for voting and you will be prompted accordingly.

  5. I would like to register for the NCSS AGM 2023. How may I do so? 

    Kindly note that the NCSS AGM 2023 is restricted to NCSS members. NCSS members may register through the registration form within the invitation email that was sent to you.

  6. How many representatives from my agency are allowed to attend AGM?

    There is no quota. However, there can only be one Official Representative per agency with voting rights.

 


SUMMIT DAY 2: 19 JULY 2023, WEDNESDAY

  1. How many representatives can my agency register for each workshop?

    We encourage each agency to send a maximum of two representatives, so that more colleagues from the sector can benefit. In the event the workshop is over-subscribed, priority will be given to Heads of Agencies, Senior Management and/or Transformation Leads. We seek your understanding that we will reach out to the additional representatives through email to inform of the cancellation of their registration.

  2. I would like to cancel my registration for Day Two’s workshop.

    Kindly reach out to ncsssummit@knoxx.sgand indicate the slot you had previously signed up for. However, please note that the slot is open for booking once it is released. As slots are limited, we seek your understanding that you may not be able to obtain an alternate workshop slot.

  3. I am now unable to make it for the workshop timing that I have signed up for; can I change my booking? 

    Kindly send in your enquiry to ncsssummit@knoxx.sg and indicate the slot which you would like to change to. However, as slots are limited, we seek your understanding that we may not be able to guarantee availability of your desired workshop slot.

 


TRANSFORMATION MARKETPLACE: 18 & 19 JULY 2023, TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY

  1. Is registration required to attend the Transformation Marketplace? 

    Yes, registration is required for the Transformation Marketplace.

  2. Do I need to pay to attend the event?

    No, attendees do not need to pay to visit the Transformation Marketplace.

  3. Can I register for the Transformation Marketplace on the day of the event?

    To facilitate smooth crowd management and enhance the overall experience, we highly recommend pre-registering for the Transformation Marketplace. However, on-site registration will still be available on the day of the event.

  4. How do I know if my registration is confirmed?

    Upon submitting your registration, you should receive an email containing your registration details and the indicated preferred timeslot to visit the Transformation Marketplace.

  5. I am from a non-NCSS member agency, can I register for the Transformation Marketplace?

    Yes, all social service professionals from both member and non-member agencies, as well as Community Care Organisations, are welcome to attend the Transformation Marketplace.

  6. Can I attend the Transformation Marketplace during a slot that I did not register for?

    To ensure the best Transformation Marketplace experience, it advised to attend the event during the designated time slot for which you have registered. Nonetheless, you are still welcome to visit the event during alternative slots.
