Some people have physical or developmental challenges that can make it difficult to perform even simple tasks, such as speak, get dressed, walk and move in other ways. That’s why therapists have important functions at schools, rehabilitation centres and therapy hubs. They are specially trained in speech and language therapy, physio therapy or occupational therapy to provide the best support available. And like Frances and her colleagues will tell you, they have a great work environment and a strong bond between them.
