Community Chest raised over $2.7 million through its first virtual One Heart, One People Comchest Night 2021 to support more than 80 social service agencies, serving vulnerable groups like children with special needs and youth-at-risk, adults with disabilities, persons with mental health conditions, vulnerable seniors and families. This is more than double the amount raised from the charity concert (previously known as GetaiXinyao Charity Concert) held in FY2019, which was over $1.1 million.

A total of 272 organisations and individuals were recognised at Community Chest Awards 2020 for their significant contributions to Community Chest in FY2019. The Awards ceremony took on a hybrid format and the segment at the Istana was presided by Guest-of-Honour, President Halimah Yacob, and hosted by Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli.

DBS becomes the first official partner of the inaugural ONEfor10 X SHARE initiative, Community Chest's monthly giving programme for philanthropists. The initiative seeks to raise funds for vulnerable communities in Singapore and was launched today at a virtual ministerial luncheon.

Some 50 members of the Singapore Chinese Weekly Entertainment Club (中华为基利俱乐部), a private members club comprising prominent Chinese businessmen and community leaders, have raised a total of $530,000 for The Invictus Fund.
