Mr Anjan Ghosh

As the Group Director of Capability Group, Mr Anjan Ghosh leads five divisions and engages more than 500 social service agencies (SSAs) and numerous stakeholders from the public and private sector. The Capability Group focuses on identifying and addressing the capability development needs of SSAs and work closely with these agencies on areas such as organisation, technology and innovation, human capability development, including volunteers, and the training of social service professionals to ensure effective and sustained social service delivery.

Prior to his current role, Anjan has held various leadership positions within NCSS, covering social service strategy, service management, service planning and development, sector manpower, and leadership. He had also served in leadership position at Temasek Foundation, where he was involved in international philanthropy work.

Anjan holds an undergraduate Honours degree in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s in Health Services Management, from Curtin University. Currently he is a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the Health Sciences Cluster at the Singapore Institute of Technology and a member of the Social Work Advisory Panel at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
