Mr Jerome Lee
Director - Communications
Mr Jerome Lee joined NCSS in October 2025 as Director of Communications. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction, planning, and execution of communications initiatives in support of NCSS’ mission.
Jerome has over 20 years of experience handling communications in the public sector, including over 10 years in leadership roles. Prior to this appointment, he was Director of Strategic Communications in the Attorney-General’s Chambers where he oversaw communications and engagements with external stakeholders, both internationally and in Singapore. He was also Director of Corporate Communications in the Monetary Authority of Singapore where he was responsible for guiding the communications plans for the agency’s work to support the financial sector and the broader Singapore economy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier in his career, he was posted to the Singapore Embassy in Washington D.C as First Secretary (Information) and served in various capacities in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Health.
Jerome has a Bachelor of Computing from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Mass Communications from the Nanyang Technological University. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Long Service Medal in 2025 and the Commendation Medal in 2017.
