Ms Aileen Tan
Director, Digital Transformation
Ms Aileen Tan joined NCSS in April 2023 and currently serves as Director of Digital Transformation. She leads a team that drives digitalisation efforts and guides social service agencies in accelerating their digital transformation based on their needs and readiness, steering the sector towards the IDEAL sector digital vision.
Seconded from the Ministry of Social and Family Development after 26 years in the Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG), Aileen started her career in social services as a care worker at the Singapore Girls' Home. Thereafter, she served in the area of Probation for offenders for 21 years, rising to the pinnacle position of Chief Probation Officer. In 2019, she went on to head the then Operations and Service Capability Office within RPG, where she led digital transformation, volunteer management, public education, and professional development for the group.
Aileen is a firm believer in harnessing the strengths of family and community to empower change. Her experience working in the family, children, and youth sector for more than two decades has motivated her to journey with the sector to transform how service is delivered, giving our community a better quality of life.
Aileen holds a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from National University of Singapore and a Degree in Psychology from the Open University (Singapore Institute of Management), UK.
