With your support, we can transform the lives of children with special needs, empower youth-at-risk, assist persons with disabilities in overcoming obstacles, bring joy to seniors.

Impactful giving

Community Chest is the philanthropy arm of NCSS. Aligned with the vision of NCSS, it strives to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to live a life of dignity to their fullest potential within our society.

For more than 40 years, the Community Chest has woven a tapestry of compassion, engaging communities in fundraising and volunteering endeavours. Its mission revolves around supporting the social service agencies dedicated to caring for communities in need. Over the years, its enduring partnerships with organisations, foundations, and individuals have raised significant funds to uplift social service users.

Every dollar donated to the Community Chest becomes a catalyst for change:

Giving initiatives

As part of our nation’s SG60 celebration, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced the launch of the SG Gives Matching Grant during Budget 2025. This initiative offers a dollar-for-dollar match for donations made through Community Chest’s SGSHARE programmme. To encourage long-term giving, an enhanced $1.50 matching for every dollar committed to multi-year donations of at least $250,000 per year, for a minimum of three years to SGSHARE. These initiatives aim to provide a meaningful opportunity for Donors to amplify their giving and be part of a national movement to drive greater impact together.

SGSHARE

SGSHARE is the national regular giving programme that ensures a consistent stream of funding for various social service agencies, especially those less visible or relatively unknown. Through the collective giving of individual donors and companies, the SGSHARE programme empowers communities in need in Singapore to live with dignity in a caring and inclusive society.

100% of donations through SGSHARE support over 200 critical social service programmes, empowering:

• Adults with disabilities

• Children with special needs and youths-at-risk

• Families in need of support

• Persons with mental health conditions

• Seniors in need of support

Multi-Year Giving

In advocacy of the Sustainable Philanthropy Framework, Community Chest encourages and galvanises long-term giving from corporates and individuals, to provide a reliable sustained source of funds to meet the critical social needs in the community that require regular ongoing support.
