Overview
The Foundational Leadership Programmes feature milestone and development courses in functional domains such as systems leadership to meet the social service sector’s need for more structured training.
Ideal for leaders transitioning into first-time, middle, and senior management roles in the social service sector, these programmes build key leadership competencies in System Thinking, Collaborative Leadership, Build Future Ready Organisations, Build Empowered Teams and Foster Innovation.
Eligibility & criteria
To be eligible for the Foundational Leadership programme, you must meet the following criteria:
Role and experience: You should be in a leadership role with people management responsibility AND a minimum of 3 years of experience in the sector.
Citizenship: You must be a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident.
Affiliation: You must currently work in an NCSS-member agency and/or MSF-funded agency.
Nomination: Participation is by nomination from your organisation's senior management.
Funding quantum
Programme fees are subsidised up to 90%.
How to apply
To enrol in the programme, social service agencies (SSAs) are required to register their programme enrolments directly with the respective Training Provider.
The Training Providers will then handle the programme participant enrolments in their enrolment platforms before the programme commencement.
Submission timeline: Varies according to each programme's registration closing date.
