A trainer and mentor for budding Early Intervention practitioners

Christina is dedicated to her field in early intervention for children with special needs and is passionate about developing students and practitioners to lead in this area. Christina is a Senior Lecturer at the National Institute of Early Childhood Development at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.  As a course chair, she oversees the Diploma in Child Psychology and Early Education and the Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education.
 
She brings with her over 18 years of experience. Prior to this, she helmed key initiatives, such as Temasek Cares – Integration Support Programme for Pre-schoolers with Autism and the first inclusive pre-school Kindle Garden, funded by Lien Foundation. During her stint in AWWA, she led the design process of its Early Intervention Centres, and envisioned these to be model centres for quality environments, teaching and learning.   

She holds Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy and is also passionate about the move towards inclusion and inclusive practices for children with disabilities and their families.
