“We can champion inclusive hiring, and in public, if we see someone needing help, we can reach out if they need any. Little actions can show the meaning of empathy and compassion.”
Alister Ong, a diversity and inclusion champion shares his life journey as a person with a disability in the latest story in the “Stories from the Heart” series. He found empowerment through the different life stages where help comes in various forms and how NCSS’ funded programmes have played a part in his progress through the funded programmes in AWWA. He is now a recognised speaker and a strong advocate for inclusive employment and community.
