40-Under-40

Overview

The NCSS 40-Under-40 programme empowers young and promising leaders within the social service sector by providing them with a platform to network and be mentored by veteran professionals in the sector. This distinguished leadership initiative aims to enable these leaders to lend their voices in shaping the future of the sector.

This youth leadership programme provides a vibrant platform for 40 participants from diverse backgrounds across the public, private and people sectors. Through this programme, participants can engage in exciting and impactful exchanges over their aspirations and commitment to effecting social change.

40-Under-40 2026

The three-day two-night (3D2N) residential programme will happen between 7 to 9 October 2026, themed "Learn, Lead, Link, with Purpose". Pre-programme activity will be held on 2 September 2026.

Eligibility criteria

• Singapore Citizens 39 years old or younger as of 31 December 2026.

• Hold leadership roles or demonstrate strong leadership potential.

• Have at least five years of experience in the social service or related sectors.

• Includes working, volunteering and other related experience or contributions.

Nominations are now open until 30 April 2026, 5:00 pm.
