From Generosity to Sustained Impact
16 June 2026
When giving is guided by purpose and structure, it becomes transformative.
Do Good International Foundation (DGIF) was set up with a clear focus: to support children and youth, and to back the organisations working to help them thrive. Based in Singapore, DGIF has built a growing portfolio of partnerships with charities and social enterprises committed to creating lasting impact for young people.

A Commitment That Grows Over Time
DGIF started with a donation of $1.3 million in 2024, which has since matured into a multi-year gift of $3.35 million over three years from 2025 to 2027 as part of the Community Chest’s SG60 fundraising initiative.
The foundation’s giving flows to programmes including the Lutheran Builder Project, Spark! by Halogen Foundation, and Kids in Play and Project Heal by The Salvation Army. This shift from annual giving to multi-year commitments means that the organisations supported by DGIF can plan further ahead and go deeper in their work. For example, the Salvation Army was seeking funders for a new counselling programme (Project Heal), which DGIF eventually supported. This enabled the SSA to expand and provide in-house counselling services to better meet the needs of their clients.
Giving Back with Confidence
Community Chest works with donors like DGIF to ensure that funds are channelled into purposeful and sustainable programmes. These programmes are audited regularly to ensure that the funds are used for intended purpose. This gives foundations like DGIF the clarity and assurance to commit funding for the longer term.
