Lighting the Way to Timely Mental Health Support
16 June 2026
For young people struggling with their mental health, getting support early matters - but costs, long waits, and not knowing where to turn often get in the way.

The Lighthouse Project by Limitless was developed to close this gap. Supported by NCSS through the 4ST Partnership Fund, it supports youths aged 12 to 25 by making timely, appropriate care more accessible.
Trust: The Quiet Bridge
At the heart of Lighthouse is a simple idea: care works best when trust is established first. Practitioners build real relationships with the young people they support — and when someone needs more specialist help, having trust makes it easier for them to take the next step rather than walk away.
Raising the Standard of Community Care
Lighthouse also strengthens the people doing the work. Community practitioners are trained and supervised by Limitless' psychologists, with guidance from senior clinicians at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, so they can handle more complex situations with confidence.
Impact that Extends Beyond the Individual
In its first year, Lighthouse supported 149 youths. Of those who stayed engaged, one in four showed measurable improvement in their mental wellbeing.
For one participant, the difference was life-changing. After having to stop therapy because she couldn't afford it, she was referred to Limitless. Over the course of one year, she made more progress than she had in seven years of prior therapy.
