With HCSA Community Services’ SPIN, Nadiyah found strength in connecting with other mothers at the shelter.

Nadiyah and her 5-year-old daughter recently moved into their own flat after spending two years in a shelter. She has shown remarkable resilience while working as a cleaner and focusing on building a better life for herself and her daughter.
She found strength in connecting with other mothers at the shelter and participating in HCSA Community Services’ SPIN (Single Parents INformed, INvolved and INcluded), a programme supported by Community Chest. SPIN provided Nadiyah with essential parenting support that strengthened her confidence and equipped her with practical skills to care for her daughter’s holistic needs, making their transition to independent living possible.
