Key Priorities for 2021 - 2023

From 2021 – 2023, NCSS will work closely with SSAs and support them in transiting to the new normal in this post-COVID19 world. Our work will focus on five main areas, guided by the three NCSS Strategic Themes, with the aim to fulfil the Social Service Sector Strategic Thrusts (4ST) vision where “Every Individual is Empowered to Live with Dignity in a Caring and Inclusive Society”.

  1. [Overall 4ST]
    Reimagining the future of social service sector

    • Refreshing the 4ST to ensure the sector remains future-ready.

  2. [Effective social purpose entities that deliver quality, innovative and sustainable solutions]
    Strengthen SSAs to propel towards "
    SSA 3.0"

    • Strengthening leadership and human capital in the sector.
    • Developing data, digital and other organisational capabilities in SSAs so they can transform their service delivery.

  3. [Quality, innovative and sustainable solutions for an impactful sector]
    Address existing and emerging service needs on the ground better

    • Leveraging research and evidence-based methods, and working collaboratively with stakeholders, to determine service gaps and co-create solutions to better serve end users.
    • Encouraging service innovation amongst SSAs.

    Create new and sustained streams of donations
