Dr Ng Boon Ching, Serene

Dr Serene Ng is Chief Operating Officer of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University, where she oversees institutional governance, finance, human capital, digital enablement and organisational transformation. She brings strong expertise in governance reform, workforce transformation, and digital strategy, with experience in driving organisational performance in complex, highly regulated environments.

Beyond her professional role, Serene contributes actively to the social service sector as Chairman of PAVE Integrated Services Ltd and Chair of the Human Capital Committee at HCA Hospice. She has championed governance strengthening, organisational sustainability and people development across the organisations she serves. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she supported Singapore’s national response efforts and was awarded the Commendation Medal (COVID-19) by the Prime Minister’s Office in recognition of her contributions.
