Professor Alex Siow is Chairman of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC), where he also serves as a Board Member and Chair of its Technology Committee. He brings extensive experience in governance, strategic planning and technology adoption within large multi-service charities. His broader leadership experience spans roles on the boards of institutions such as Ang Mo Kio–Thye Hua Kwan Hospital, the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), and the Singapore Science Centre.

Alex has contributed actively to the social and community sector, such as by serving on the Fundraising Committee of Daughters of Tomorrow. He was also a grassroots leader and Chairman of the Aljunied Kembangan Citizens’ Consultative Committee, providing insight into the needs of vulnerable individuals.
