The live broadcast of the Community Chest Charity TV Show 2018 raised over $9.6 million, incorporating the first-ever use of digital technology in fund-raising on a charity TV show. The public were able to make donations via QR code with DBS PayLah!. This innovative mode of fund-raising is in addition to donations via tele-poll. The funds raised from the show will go towards more than 80 social service organisations supported by Community Chest.
