The second tranche of The Invictus Fund was launched on 28 September 2020 via a virtual launch event, hosted by Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr. Masagos Zulkifli.
The launch of the second tranche of The Invictus Fund was organised by the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). The Invictus Fund is meant to help marshal private donations to support Social Service Agencies (SSAs) in maintaining service delivery and other efforts to help serve clients safely and effectively during the pandemic.
The launch event serves as a platform for SSAs, government and corporate partners to learn about the initiatives and funding available to enable SSAs to continue operating in the new normal. Through the engagement, participants gained insights from SSAs and community partners on their transformation journey in re-inventing service delivery through business continuity, digitalisation and other efforts. The first application window is open for applications from now till Oct 30.
Timed with this funding support, a one-stop technology hub, Tech-and-GO!, was launched to help SSAs go digital.
