FSCs are community-based social services that serve low-income and/or vulnerable individuals and families who need social and emotional support. Social Work Practitioners at the FSCs provide case management support on family, financial, housing, employment
and other social issues. FSCs also partner with other agencies to assist individuals and families holistically as they work towards stability, self-reliance and social mobility. Search for the nearest Family Service Centres to

PPIS Vista Sakinah helps remarried couples and their families cope with their new roles and adjust to their reconstituted families. The services provided include family casework and counselling, support groups, programmes for children, and public education.
Marriages involving Minors
INSPIRASI PPIS is a hub that serves as a one-stop centre to centralise the coordination and provision of the various
programmes and services for minor couples who plan or eventually choose to marry.
Divorce Support Specialist Agencies
Divorce Support Specialist Agencies emphasise child centricity through
the divorcing process, provide support for divorcing and divorced families and children in the form of workshops on co-parenting, support groups, case management and counselling.

Maintenance Support Central – Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations
A one-stop drop-in centre
that provides advice and assistance with problems relating to payment of court-ordered maintenance following a divorce or legal separation. This includes legal advice, credit bureau reporting, filing and/or enforcement of fresh maintenance orders
as well as public education.
A structured programme run by counsellors and volunteers to support widows to adjust to widowhood.
There are 3 main components:
HCSA Dayspring SPIN (Single Parents: Informed, Involved, Included)
SPIN provides support to single parents in the form of informal social support network, counselling and an online portal of information and resources.
Transnational Families Support Centres
Transnational couples will be prepared for a cross-cultural marriage in Singapore and equipped with knowledge on where they can get assistance in the community.

Rehabilitation services help former offenders and their families reintegrate into society.
Halfway Houses
Halfway Houses are transitional homes that help offenders through the process of reintegration into society. They provide rehabilitative programmes as well as case management services.
Case Management
SACA, SANA and ISCOS provide aftercare case management service to assist former offenders in attaining employment, job training, securing accommodation, developing social support and coping skills, and attaining a positive lifestyle. These facilitate
the reintegration of former offenders into their families and the society, and in turn minimise the cycle of reoffending. Family sessions are also conducted to support the recovering persons’ rehabilitation.
WE CARE Drop-In Centre provides a safe and supportive place for recovering persons and their family members to find fellowship
and support. The centre provides a range of activities and programmes that helps the recovering persons re-integrate into family and work life.
CARE Network
The Community Action for the Rehabilitation of Ex-offenders (CARE) Network is an alliance of various Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and Government ORganisations
dedicated to community engagement, coordination of aftercare efforts and enhancing service delivery for ex-offenders and their families.

Provides family violence intervention work ranging from remedial to preventive and developmental services. The three family violence specialist centres in Singapore are PAVE,

Star Shelter – Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO)
SCWO Star Shelter provides temporary refuge for women and their
children who are victims of family violence. It empowers service users to manage and take responsibility for their lives, and assists them in rebuilding a life free from violence.
Pregnancy Crisis
BABES provides pre- and post-natal support for teenage girls facing unplanned pregnancies. Counsellors provide information and emotional
support to enable the teenager to make informed decisions regarding her pregnancy. The programme also helps support strained relationships between the teenagers and their families.
Transitional Shelters
Transitional shelters provide temporary and safe accommodation to help families and individuals to cope with their challenges and transition towards self-reliance. At present, there are three social service
agencies that run the Transitional shelters.

Transit Point @ Margaret Drive – New Hope Community Services
TP@MD is an interim shelter for rough sleepers, that aims to provides immediate safe accommodation with 24/7 admission to the shelter. The programme seeks to empower
service users to co-create their individualised care plan. Through engagement in shelter services and programmes, service users are also provided with support and time to find stable housing, and be equipped with skills for independent living.
Provide emotional support to individuals, couples and families facing psychological issues arising from relationship problems and lifestyle pressures.
Care Corner Counselling Centre
Care Corner Counselling Centre offers individual, couple and group counselling, with specialisation in children therapy, couple therapy, mental health and trauma recovery. Counselling and therapy sessions are conducted in-person, over the phone,
and online via Zoom.
Counselling and Care Centre
Counselling and Care Centre offers family therapy, couple/marital therapy, pre-marital counselling
and marriage preparation, individual psychotherapy, child-focused therapy, trauma counselling, and counselling on sexuality and sexual issues. Counselling is available face-to-face and online.
Eagles Mediation and Counselling Centre (EMCC)
EMCC helps individuals and families manage relational challenges,
build emotional resilience, and maintain psychological health and mental wellness through counselling and mediation services, as well as training and education programmes.
Shan You Counselling Centre
Shan You Counselling Centre provides counselling to youths, adults,
seniors, couples and families in the community. Its team of experienced counsellors and psychologists help service users address a wide spectrum of mental health issues and other issues, including trauma-related issues, bereavement and grief, marital
and relationships issues as well as family and parenting issues.
SYM Academy (formerly known as PPIS Family Therapy Institute)
SYM Academy specialises in family therapy and other therapeutic family-related work for individuals
and couples, as well as training programmes for professionals working with families. It aims to reduce and resolve domestic issues and conflicts through informed and emphatic intervention.
WINGS Counselling Centre
WINGS Counselling Centre offers the Family Support & Counselling Programme for children, youths, individuals,
couples and families from ages 2.5 to 65 years old, as well as individual, marital and couple therapies.
