In the latest story from Stories from the Heart, we see a group of Community Advocates formed by seniors, they work with Tsao Foundation to roll out a ground-up initiative - EMPOWER programme funded by NCSS. These active agers, each with a story of their own, shares their EMPOWER journey. By using their experiences and ability to connect with senior citizens, they were empowered to be the voices of the senior community and to find solutions for pressing issues such as high medical costs, social isolation, dementia and caregiving, among others.
