Mental health and Sport: Studies have shown that sports benefit one's mental health and how one can feel calmer. But athletes face an immense pressure from performing in their sport and judgement from society. How do they keep it together?

Join us for a two-part session with our lively panel as they discuss their mental health journeys and why these open conversations are important in fighting mental health stigma, and try out some simple workouts to boost your mental well-being!

John Yeong is a Singapore sports presenter and host, content creator, former semi-professional football player and fitness enthusiast. Currently the founder and editor-in-chief at SportsPlus.SG, he is passionate about storytelling and hopes to use his voice to elevate Singapore sports and fitness through sharing stories about the many remarkable individuals who have made a mark in Singapore's sporting community.

Nurul Suhaila is a Team Singapore pencak silat athelete. Having represented Singapore on multiple international and national competitions such as the Southeast Asian Games, the Asian Games and the Pencal World Championships, Suhaila won her first world title at the 15th World Pencak Silat Championships back in 2018.
