Mr Lawrence Wong
Mr Lawrence Wong is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. He is also a Member of Parliament for Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and also
a member of the GIC Board, the Future Economy Council, the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council and the National Research Foundation Board, and co-chairs the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council.

Mr Tan Chuan-Jin
Mr Tan Chuan-Jin is the current Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore. Mr Tan believes in the need to deepen the volunteering space as volunteers play a very important role in uplifting the community, especially
the meaningful impact achieved when the community, SSOs, corporates and the Government collaborate effectively. Mr Tan also oversees SG Cares, the national movement that works towards building a more caring society.
Ms Teresa Mok
Teresa is a Director with Ernst & Young’s People Advisory Services. She has spent more than 16 years working with organisations in workforce and talent management. Since 2014, Teresa, together with the team at EY,
has been working together with NCSS in the area of Volunteer Management. During this time, she has supported the development of many sectoral guides and frameworks in volunteer management, and journeyed together with almost 40 Social Sector Agencies
to create greater impact in volunteer partnerships.

Professor Ang Hak Seng
Professor Ang Hak Seng, the Director of the Centre of Excellence for Social Good and the Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). Prior to these appointments,
Prof Ang served in Public Service for more than 30 years. He was the Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, leading the Ministry’s efforts in Singapore Cares national movement. He was also previously appointed Commissioner
of Charities and former Chief Executive Director of the People’s Association.
Dr Foo Fung Fong
Dr Foo Fung Fong is the Executive Director of Filos Community Services, a non-profit organisation that aims to build resilience and empower individuals and communities. A medical doctor by training, Dr Foo has been
leading community level initiatives in integrating health and social care as well as mobilizing 3P partnerships to meet the needs of vulnerable groups through volunteerism. This includes piloting one of the first two SGCares Volunteer Centres since
2019. She was part of the NCSS workgroup for Empowering Seniors (2015 – 2020) and continues to contribute in the NCSS Empowerment Circle to pursue empowered individuals, families and communities as one of the strategic thrusts for the sector.
Mr Patrick Lee
As Standard Chartered Bank’s Cluster CEO for Singapore and ASEAN Markets, Patrick is responsible for steering and executing business development and strategy for the Bank in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and
Thailand. He has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including corporate and investment banking, product and sector coverage, and has worked in Singapore, Hong Kong and London.
Patrick is a Co-Founder and Board Director of Leap Philanthropy Ltd, a Singapore-based charity active in Indonesia, Cambodia and Myanmar. In 2022, Patrick was named an ‘IBF Distinguished Fellow’ by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Singapore for his contributions to the growth and development of the financial sector.
Ms Usha Menon
Usha Menon, Founder of Usha Menon Management Consultancy works exclusively with the social impact sectors across Asia and beyond, specialising in nonprofit governance, leadership, strategy and fundraising. She believes
in being the change she wants to see and hence brings experience and unique insights she has gained through 35 years of volunteering, working and consulting across social services, arts, health, education and international development agencies. Usha
has an insatiable appetite for helping others maximize their potential. She serves on several local and international charity boards and advisories.

Mr Philip Ong
Mr Philip Ong graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History. In 2006 he received a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. Mr Ong has served in the Public Service
Division in the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, and the National Research Foundation. He is currently the Deputy Secretary
at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.
Ms Hazlina Abdul Halim
Hazlina Abdul Halim is President of the Singapore Muslim Women’s Association (PPIS), an organisation dedicated to inspiring women and strengthening families.
Under her leadership, PPIS launched its first-ever research publication on the Aspirations of Muslim Women, built Singapore’s first secular Halfway House for females, launched a postgraduate scholarship for women in partnership with LBKM, developed a new initiative called Women Space, and established Oaks Plus Limited to manage the early childhood education centres.
Hazlina also serves as a Director at the Singapore Business Federation Foundation and Yayasan MENDAKI. She is also a Committee Chest member. She formerly served as Vice President of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) in 2016. In 2023, Hazlina received the Community Cares Awards from MSF. Hazlina is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore, granting the wishes of children with critical illness.
Ms Aileen Tan
Ms Aileen Tan is the Group Chief People and Sustainability Officer for Singtel Group and is responsible for their overall strategic people and sustainability agenda. She has over 30 years of experience in various leadership
roles spanning multiple industries and geographies.
Aileen joined Singtel in 2008 and under her leadership, Singtel has won numerous accolades for its leading people and sustainability practices.
She is a member of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) Board, Singapore University of Social Sciences Board of Trustees, Health Sciences Authority Board, NTUC-U Care Fund Board of Trustees, Institute for Adult Learning Council, Ministry of Finance’s VITAL’s Advisory Panel and MOM’s Workplace Safety & Health Council in Singapore.
Aileen received the Medal of Commendation (Gold) at the NTUC May Day Awards 2022 and the Public Service Medal in 2018 for her significant contributions to Singapore’s workforce and human resources sector.

Alicia Altorfer-Ong, Ph.D., is Deputy General Manager at Ray of Hope, Singapore's only crowdfunding charity where she spearheads partnerships and collaborative initiatives 3P stakeholders to strengthen organisational

Kevin Lee
Kevin is a seasoned business and strategic management leader who has more than 25 years in business growth acceleration as well as versatility in transforming complex organisations and growing billion dollar institutions across commercial enterprises, aspiring start-ups, and non-profit organisations spanning diverse industries and regional markets. Notably, Kevin led diverse teams of international talent and accelerated the business transformation and revenue growth at Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, and Cisco Systems with stellar results, and P&L management oversight across 13 countries in the APAC region, where he has focused on Strategy and Transformation, Corporate Governance, Audit and Risk Management, Investment and Treasury, Fund-Raising, Organisation Development, Operations Management and Human Resource competencies. Kevin is a member with Singapore Institute of Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from National University of Singapore and has completed an Executive Masters of Science from Baruch College, City University of New York.
Ms Ong Siew Chin
Siew Chin is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years of experience in financial control and auditor, spanning across various industries, Siew Chin brings to Blossom Seeds a strong set of financial
management skills. Goal orientated and resourceful, with proven project management track record, she is also adapt at managing teams across a multi-cultural and multi-national environment. Beyond analyzing numbers, she was also deeply involved in
community work, spending a total of 8 years with Dover Hospice as a volunteer. In her free time, she enjoys cycling and mountain trekking.
Mr Mohamed Irshad
Mohamed Irshad is the Vice-Chairman of the Volunteer Management Sub-Committee at Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA).
He works at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as the Head of Corporate Affairs, overseeing public affairs, government relations, community engagement and various strategic initiatives for TCS across ASEAN.
Irshad is also the Founder and President of Roses of Peace (ROP) an interfaith non-profit organisation that seeks to build a harmonious, cohesive and resilient Singapore.
In 2018, Mohamed Irshad was appointed by the President of Singapore as one of the youngest Nominated Member of Parliament and served in the 13th Parliament of Singapore.
In recognition of his exemplary contributions to the community, he was awarded the President's Volunteerism & Philanthropy Award and the MUIS50 Inspiring Youth Award in 2018. He was conferred the esteemed 7th Abdeali Tayebali Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 and is a Generation T honouree in the Gen.T List 2019 by Tatler Singapore.
Mr Jeffrey Tay
Jeffrey leads the Volunteer Management Team in SOS. He started as an Executive where his main role entails volunteer deployment to SOS 24-hr hotline. Throughout his VM journey, Jeffrey was given opportunities to be
exposed to different aspects of VM, including volunteer recruitment, training, and retention. Jeffrey is currently leading a team of 6 who oversees and manages 400 service and skill-based volunteers, whose passions are to support SOS mission in becoming
an available lifeline to anyone in crisis. He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
Mr Chia Boon Khiang
Boon Khiang is currently serving as the Director for Strategic Partnerships and Branding at SATA CommHealth. He is also serving as a Board Member with Hope House Ltd, a temporary shelter home for displaced &
troubled boys, supported by the La Sallian Schools. Till today, he has served in the non-profit sector in a senior management capacity for 16 years now. He believes that volunteering is a journey and it gives back more than the time and effort placed
into the task assigned.
He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.

Ms Melisa Wong
Melisa Wong is the Executive Director at Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd. She is passionate about the children and family community and hopes to make a difference in enabling families to make informed decisions
about their future. She started out a volunteer and has since been in the social service sector for more than 20 years. Melisa has a Bachelor’s in Social Work from NUS and is a Registered Social Worker with the Singapore Social Work Association.
She has led teams in volunteer management and various community development and social service programmes in the areas of arts, environment, seniors, children, and family.
Mr Sng Hock Lin
Sng Hock Lin is currently the Chief of Silver Generation Office (SGO), Agency of Integrated Care and was previously the Chief of ActiveSG leading the national movement for sport. He led the Operations SAYANG to repurpose
the sports centres to take care of our migrant workers during the Circuit Breaker. He led the ActiveSG 3.0 transformation through digitalisation, technology and people development.
He is currently a PhD Candidate in Gerontology, SUSS and held the Masters of Training & Development Griffith University, 2018; Masters of Gerontology (Gold Award) SUSS, 2016; Masters of Science (Transport System & Management) National University of Singapore, 2014; Graduate Diploma in Defence Science and Technology National University of Singapore, 2005; Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering National Technological University, 1996.
Ms Tuminah Sapawi
Tuminah’s work with the Malay-Muslim community spanned over 4 decades. As a journalist in both Berita Harian and The Straits Times, she reported on wide-ranging community issues. As the former CEO of Yayasan
MENDAKI, she works with volunteers to ensure the work on the ground is well-implemented. At PPIS she champions the role of volunteers over the last two years and put in place a volunteer management framework and system to measure and articulate volunteer
impact.
Ms Khoo Khee Ling
Khee Ling is currently heading the Volunteer Management Department of SPD. She is a trained Social Worker and previously headed SPD’s team of Social Workers. In 2017, a strategic move was made for Khee Ling
to lead the newly set up Volunteer Management Department to focus on engaging volunteers more systematically to augment the work that SPD is doing. Since then, the Volunteer Management team has been actively involving and working with various community
partners to serve people with disabilities. She is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
Mr Cheong Jun Jie
Jun Jie is the Community Engagement Manager at HCSA Dayspring SPIN of HCSA Community Services. He is excited to collaborate with community partners and engage volunteers to impact beneficiaries through well-crafted
programmes. Jun Jie started out as a volunteer to mentor youths before becoming a youth worker and then transiting into his current role of volunteer management with community engagement. He is also interested in harnessing data analytics, processes,
systems and impact measurement to strengthen service delivery. He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.

Mr Gasper Tan
Gasper Tan is Chief Executive of Samaritans of Singapore (SOS), Singapore’s lead agency for suicide prevention. Gasper has worked over three decades leading and growing companies of all sizes, from multinational
corporations to start-ups. His experience and leadership have been focused on strategic management, as well as developing and steering dynamic business services across the Asian Pacific region. As a strong advocate for strengthening community resilience,
Gasper believes in empowering people and deepening collaborations to manage future challenges.
Mr Bart Lim
Bart Lim is the Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Welfare Services, Singapore, bringing with him more than 25 years of management experience in the Singapore social service sector and the FMCG industry across the Asia
Pacific region.
Bart has also been a volunteer in his Church's Community Outreach Program for the financially-disadvantaged families over the past 20 years.
Bart holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Marketing from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Mr Benjamin William
Mr Benjamin Jeyaraj William has been the Secretary General of the Singapore Red Cross Society (SRC) since 2012.
Prior to joining SRC, Benjamin served in the Singapore Foreign Service from 1981, serving both in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HQ and in various Singapore diplomatic missions abroad. Benjamin also served varied overseas postings, as First Secretary in the Singapore High Commission in Brunei Darussalam, as First Secretary and Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) in the Singapore Embassy in Philippines, as Counsellor and DCM at the Singapore Embassy in the US. Between 2007 and 2011, Benjamin served as Singapore's Ambassador to the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Besides the Singapore Red Cross, Benjamin also serves on the Board of the People’s Association (from 2017) and as Chairman of the Health Sciences Authority’s Sample Oversight Committee (from 2019). He has also served on the Boards of the Special Olympics (Asia Pacific), OMF International and St Andrew’s Mission Hospital.
Mr James Lim
A Social worker by profession and a Certified Volunteer Administrator, James has worked with several social purpose entities to grow their strategic volunteer partnerships. With his experience and lessons gained from
countless burnouts, he continues to train and advocate for mental resilience and strategic volunteer partnerships, and was featured on media and publications on these topics. Today, his mission is to help people, families, organizations and communities
grow and thrive by running an award-winning Social Enterprise to “fuel good”. He is also a Volunteer Partnerships Professional with SHINE Children & Youth Services.
Ms Michelle Eu
Michelle is the Head of Community Partnerships in AWWA. She came from the corporate sector and has had an enriching journey of continuous learning especially in a multi-sector agency like AWWA with close to 30 programmes
serving the children and youths with disabilities, vulnerable families and seniors. She believes that with AWWA's continuous work improvement culture and the push for innovation, it encourages the organisation, community partner team and employees,
to bring out the best in them as they drive for excellence in the engagement with volunteers. She is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.

Dr. Fermin Diez
Fermin Diez is the Senior Consultant and former Deputy CEO of National Council of Social Service. Having rich experience in Human Resources, he held consulting, corporate and academic roles In organizations worldwide.
He sits on the Board and chairs the Assessment Committee of the Institute of Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) and on the PSD HR Talent Development Committee (TDC). He co-authored three books on Strategic Human Resources, Remuneration and HR Analytics
and serves as adjunct faculty at Singapore Management University and Nanyang Technological University. Fermin is certified as an IHRP Master Professional (IHRP-MP).
Dr Leong Chan-Hoong
Leong Chan-Hoong is the Head of Policy Development, Evaluation, and Data Analytics at Kantar Public, a global policy advisory firm headquartered in London that specialises in government affairs and the non-profit
sectors. He is concurrently a member of the National Integration Council (Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth) and Community Advisory Panel (Ministry of National Development) and is Singapore’s national representative to the World Association
for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR). A former grassroots leader for over 20 years, he has served in various leadership capacity, including Citizen’s Consultative Committee, and Community Club Management Committee.
Mr Chin Sau Ho
Believing that it is the PEOPLE that makes the Difference, Chin Sau Ho is passionate in building and empowering high performing teams that are aligned in vision and purpose; to make a positive impact to uplift others
in our society.
An energetic and influential leader, he has extensive experience in government and private sectors having served as Press Secretary to SM Tharman and senior appointments in Ministry of Finance, SPRING Singapore, Ministry of Defence and Sports Hub Pte Ltd.
Sau Ho is also an active District Councillor serving at South-East CDC. In 2021 he was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in recognition of his grassroots service at East Coast GRC.
Dr Leong Chan-Hoong

After 5 years in the social service sector, Xin Ling currently leads the Volunteer Management (VM) team at New Hope Community Services. This includes overseeing the SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Kreta Ayer and other
VM related pilot projects. Xin Ling strongly advocates for volunteerism, and believes that one can only grow and progress through the growth and progression of others. She is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
Mr Loh Hui Han
Loh Hui Han is the Head of Organisation of Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre. He pioneered the first Volunteer Centre (Volunteer Centre@ Jurong East) in Singapore to build volunteer capacity and foster community
partnerships to strengthen the towns’ effectiveness in meeting community needs. Holding a BSc in Banking & Finance, Hui Han is glad to join the public and social sectors, investing his time to make a difference in the lives of marginalised
communities instead of financial instruments. He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.

Mr Ethen Ong
Ethen Ong led the Team Nila Division in ActiveSG to be the National Sport Volunteer Movement that strives to unite the nation and inspire the Singapore Spirit through Sport. In 2014, Team Nila was formed
in support of the SEA Games 2015 and ASEAN Para Games 2015. Ever since then, the volunteer pool has grown from 17,000 to 39,000 strong. Apart from supporting major sporting events, Team Nila is now plugged in 5 Giving Platforms to continue their efforts
in contributing back to the society through sport. Ethen also sits in the Volunteer Committee of Breast Cancer Foundation.

Ivy is the Chief Executive Officer of Halogen Foundation Singapore. Prior to taking the position of CEO in 2015, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Events Executive for 2.5 years. She led the running of the
charity’s flagship National Young Leader Day, launched the annual National Young Leader Award and the Halogen Internship Programme.
Outside of Halogen, Ivy sits on the Advisory Board of My Working Title, NewYork.sg, GEMS Academy and is also a member of the Social Development Network Council. She is also part of the INSPIRIT community led by the National Youth Council which seeks to empower youths to advocate for youths.
Ivy is a Global Merit Scholar from the National University of Singapore and holds a Double Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, both with Honours. She was awarded the NUS Business School Eminent Business Alumni Awards, Young Alumni Award in 2016.
Associate Professor Ang Seng Bin
A/Prof Ang Seng Bin is the Family Physician, Senior Consultant, Family Medicine Service and Head of Menopause Unit for KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
He is also an active volunteer in the social service sector. Currently Chairman of AMKFSC Community Services Ltd (a Company Limited by Guarantee), A/Prof Ang is also a Board Member of Singapore Totalisator Board (Tote Board), Board Member of the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC), Board Member of SATA CommHealth, Board Advisor of the NUS Mind Science Centre, as well as immediate past Chairman of Shine Children and Youth Services. He is also the Chair of the HBRA-IRB at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
Ms Emily Ong
Emily is the Director and Head of Department for Eldercare Centres, responsible for the strategic development of all of Lions Befrienders’ Eldercare Centres to drive and lead initiatives while ensuring operational
efficiency. She joined Lions Befrienders since 2007 as a Volunteer Executive, managing and training volunteers who conducted home visits. In her capacity as Volunteer manager, she oversaw all volunteer management and training efforts, reviewed and
implemented policies to enhance volunteering experiences. She has a Masters in Gerontology and is also an Applied Suicide Intervention Training (ASIST) Trainer. She is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
Mr Jeremy Khoo
Jeremy has had over 20 years of private sector experience in various industries including advertising, technology, petroleum, finance, consumer electronics, and retail before joining the social service sector in 2007.
In recent years he was Assistant General Manager of NTUC FairPrice Foundation, Executive Director of the Archdiocesan Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants & Itinerant People (ACMI), Executive Director of the Children's Aid Society and
is currently Senior Manager at Caritas Singapore. He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.

Mr Bernard Lim
Bernard Lim just joined Dementia Singapore in Dec 2022 as its Director, Advocacy and Communications.
He left his role for Partnership and Business Development under the Lifestyle Entertainment Media Group of SPH Media.
Previously he was the Program Director for SPH Radio’s two top English radio stations KISS 92 FM and ONE FM 91.3. He was the anchor presenter on MONEY FM 89.3 for almost two years.
Bernard was the Vice President for Radio Programming at MediaCorp in 2002, and then the CEO of the Singapore Stock Exchange-listed company, LifeBrandz Limited in 2009, before returning to MediaCorp as its Managing Director for Television in 2013.
He has more than 20 years in the media and entertainment industry.
The reason Bernard left the commercial media industry to join Dementia Singapore was to take on more purposeful work and reach out to help people living with dementia and their caregivers.
Ms Wu Meiling
Wu Meiling joined the YMCA in April 2022 as General Secretary & CEO. She works closely with the YMCA Board of Directors to provide leadership, strategic direction and operational oversight for all initiatives in
YMCA’s social enterprises and community impact programmes. Prior to joining YMCA, Ms Wu had more than 20 years of experience within the social service sector. She has also served on various national-level committees and tasks forces in the social
service, youth and education sectors. From 2016-2019, she was appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the National Council of Social Service to become a Social Service Fellow. With her contributions, Ms Wu received the Outstanding Social Worker
Award in 2012 and was nominated for Great Women of Our Time, Singapore Women’s Weekly in 2013. She also received the Tote Board Overseas Scholarship in 2017.
Ms Koh Juat Muay
Koh Juat Muay has more than 25 years of management experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Her passion is in organisational well-being where people and process are in harmony. Her expertise is in
positive communications, people development and performance coaching.
Mr Gary Lim
Gary Lim is the Deputy Director in Care Corner Singapore, overseeing the Volunteer & Community Engagement department and three SG Cares Volunteer Centres (in Tampines, Toa Payoh and Woodlands). His role includes
volunteer engagement, development and management of volunteers and the deepening of community engagement.
Gary has accumulated more than 15 years of leadership and people management experience ranging from the public service, SMEs, non-profits and social services, and was also part of the Beyond Covid-19 Taskforce's Manpower and Volunteer Workstream. He continues to learn to how to lead and work more effectively with increasingly diverse groups of people. He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
Ms Cindy Gan
Cindy joined the Social Service sector in 2017 as a Volunteer Management Executive under the Pilot Volunteer Management Funding Scheme (VFMS). She previously had experience in the banking and finance industry for over
ten years. Bridging her marketing experience with her interest to engage with people, she enhanced the Volunteer Management System in her organisation. She now works as a Counsellor in the same organisation. She is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer
Management Champion.

Mr Chan Whee Peng
Whee Peng is a Senior Lecturer in the SUSS’ S R Nathan School of Human Development, Social Work Programme. Prior to joining SUSS, he was the Director of Services in the National Council of Social Service where
he had the opportunity to partner different stakeholders in addressing emerging and under-served social service needs. He received his first degree in social work and continued his post-graduate education in social work and public administration.
His current research interest is in gaming disorder and management of social services.
Mr Christian Chao
Christian Chao is the Chief Executive Officer of Care Corner Singapore Ltd, a non-profit, social and health care services provider.
Christian has over 23 years of experience spanning the people, public & private sectors. Prior to assuming the role of CEO, he was responsible for championing Care Corner’s transformation journey from 2019. Before Care Corner, he held positions as Senior Vice President at United Overseas Bank overseeing leadership development and change management, and Director at the Institute of Leadership and Organisation Development, Civil Service College, where he consulted on transformation projects with various Ministries and Agencies in the Public Service.
Ms Peng Hai Ying
Peng Hai Ying is currently with CEO of Children’s Cancer Foundation. With over 20 years in the sector, half of which are spent on leading organisations, Haiying is passionate in journeying with leaders to facilitate
transformation in their organisations. Haiying’s portfolio includes working as a Child Protection Officer, Senior Social Worker and Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer at various organisations including Family Service Centres, Disability
Homes and those serving children in need.
Mr Victor Poh
Victor is currently the Head of Volunteer Management at TOUCH Community Services. His role involves the planning of volunteer management strategies and policies, engaging stakeholders, developing volunteering platforms
to recruit and retain volunteers to fulfil TOUCH’s vision of building enabled communities. Victor has been serving in the social service sector for almost 20 years, having acquired related experiences in volunteer management with the Children’s
Cancer Foundation and YMCA of Singapore prior to joining TOUCH. He is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
Ms Chiu Ying Yik
Chiu Ying Yik organises volunteer resources at Beyond Social Services, a charity that builds community among low-income families. She worked as a social worker for five years before realizing that her strengths
lie in volunteer management. Yik has steered the organization towards the goal of volunteer-driven programmes using a community development model. She firmly believes that everyone has strengths, that they can contribute to the community and that
there is a volunteer job for everyone. She is also an appointed NCSS Volunteer Management Champion.
